Will Rogers was a Cherokee Indian born in Oklahoma on Nov 4, 1879. He was a progresive man of his era. Traveling the world many times and reporting his accounts thru movies, radio & his nationally syndicated news paper column he was adored by the American people. Rogers died on Aug 15, 1935 in a plane crash with his friend Willy Post on a trip to Alaska. This is the front page of the Detroit Times 3 days after his death. Nicely Framed, perserving his legacy.
